Killer Spice was born from a love of bold flavors, food science, and a little bit of chaos. Founded by Arlene Dominguez and Chef Calvin Chan, the brand began with a few experimental coffee-infused blends for beef, chicken, and fish and quickly grew into a flavor movement. With Arlene’s background in business and Calvin’s culinary expertise from a Forbes 4-star resort kitchen, the duo set out to create infused spice blends that were nostalgic, unexpected, and ridiculously good. Drawing inspiration from their Asian and Mexican heritage, they use techniques like molecular gastronomy to craft spices that don’t just season meals they spark curiosity and joy.

From bootstrapping operations in a commercial kitchen in Provo, Utah, to scaling production and growing a loyal community, Arlene and Calvin have built Killer Spice around the idea that food should be fun, weird, and wildly flavorful. Today, with the global spice market on the rise, Killer Spice is positioned to lead with its premium ingredients, ethical sourcing, and unapologetically bold brand.

What is the return policy?

Our goal is for every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. If for any reason you're not, we’re here to help. Unopened products can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Due to food safety regulations, opened products are non-returnable but reach out and we’ll do our best to make it right.

Who does your art?

Most of our artwork is created by our CEO, but we’re always on the lookout for artists who align with our vibe. If you think your style is a killer match, we’d love to hear from you.

Is Killer Spice healthy?

At Killer Spice, we don’t market ourselves as a “healthy” brand because that word often comes with misleading claims. What we do stand by is transparency and quality. We never use fillers or unrecognizable ingredients, and we’re in the process of securing certified organic status.

We’re proud to work only with ethical suppliers for our raw ingredients, and we elevate every blend with premium fleur de sel a delicate sea salt known for its natural flake, clean taste, and rich mineral content, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, and zinc. Its a standout among salts, with about 30% less sodium than regular table salt.

Where are your products manufactured?

All of our products are proudly made in the USA, crafted by hand in our commercial facility in Provo, Utah. Because we make everything ourselves, you can count on every blend being high-quality, ethically produced, and priced with real people in mind.

Why these prices?

We do our best to keep prices affordable, but sometimes things happen that are out of our control. When that happens, we focus on providing value in other ways like adjusting packaging or offering bundle deals without ever cutting corners on what matters most.
